The AMG GT Black Series P One Edition sits at the crossroads of track engineering and road legality. Draped in the same matte-silver-and-turquoise motif that carried the Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ to the 2019 Constructors’ Championship, the coupe’s deep vents, towering rear wing, and sculpted carbon-fiber aero pieces aren’t decorative—they’re directly descended from wind-tunnel work in Brackley and Affalterbach.
Only 275 examples exist worldwide, and every surface telegraphs that rarity: from the thin-strand carbon hood to the discreet “P One Edition” badging tucked into the front splitter.
Beneath the elongated bonnet, a hand-built 4.0-liter V-8 Bi-Turbo wakes with the dry-sumped aggression. It delivers 730 horsepower and 800 Nm to the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox, shuffling ratios with race-pit urgency.
The numbers read like timing-board callouts—0–100 km/h in roughly 3.2 seconds and a 325 km/h peak—but it’s the way the turbos surge in the mid-range, the way the flat-plane cranknote hardens past 5,000 rpm, that brands the memory.
The chassis tempers that force with motorsport-grade hardware: double-wishbone front suspension in forged aluminum, a multi-link rear with uniball joints, manually adjustable camber, and adaptive dampers mapped for both street undulations and curb strikes. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires (bespoke to the model) latch onto tarmac, while an active rear aero flap trims drag on the straights and piles on downforce in braking zones. Inside, thin-shell carbon seats, micro-suede touch points, and a pared-back digital cluster remind the driver of the car’s true purpose—delivering the distilled, frenetic pulse of an F1 weekend, one corner at a time.
